It looks like actor Kritika Kamra and her husband, sports presenter Gaurav Kapur, have found the ultimate sanctuary to recover from their whirlwind March wedding. After tying the knot in an intimate rooftop
ceremony in Mumbai on March 11, 2026, the couple headed to the tranquil banks of North Goa for a much-needed “sun, swim, eat, repeat” cycle.
And their choice of stay was the brand-new Postcard on the Mandovi River, which is the newest outpost of the famed Postcard brand in Goa, and puts the state’s riverside delights on the leisure map.
Postcard on the Mandovi River, Goa
While we recover from the FOMO we have looking at Kritika’s photos, here’s all you need to know about this property. Located away from the typical tourist hustle of North Goa (and its chaotic Baga beach), this 17-room boutique retreat is designed for “slow recovery.” Every room is a vantage point, featuring large windows and private balconies that frame the river like a postcard (yeah, we know we made a pun here). Whether it’s the early morning mist lifting off the water or the sun melting into the horizon, nature is the main protagonist here.
While there are a few room options for you to choose from, if you have deep pockets and a desire to holiday like Kritika and Gaurav, the hotel’s crown jewel is the Mandovi Suite. Priced at a premium INR 3,03,000 per night (exclusive of taxes), this suite is a private estate within the resort.
As the largest offering, it features two bedrooms, a private living area, and a dedicated pantry. A round-the-clock butler ensures you don’t have to lift a finger, allowing you to focus entirely on “doing nothing.” A massive private balcony/patio overlooks the majestic Mandovi River, perfect for soaking in those golden-hour hues the couple mentioned in their posts.
Kritika’s “eat, repeat” mantra was also satisfied by the hotel’s commitment to fresh, local produce. There’s a garden-view dining experience featuring Goan classics and seasonal surprises. There is also a gorgeous open bar, but the real star is the rooftop bar, which opens on clear days to offer panoramic views and handcrafted cocktails.
Despite its secluded feel, the hotel is remarkably accessible:
- 45 minutes from Dabolim Airport (30.4 km).
- 45 minutes from the new Manohar International Airport (MOPA) (32.5 km).
Beyond the room, the hotel offers a private jetty for river access, rare riverside walks, and curated excursions to the historic riches of Old Goa and the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary.
