Kalyani Priyadarshan shares updates on Lokah Chapter 2
Kalyani, who essayed the role of Chandra, aka Kalliyankattu Neeli, in the first part, recently attended an event at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, where she was asked about the updates on Lokah 2, since it is the most anticipated film. On being asked to share some exclusive details about the film, Kalyani smiled and said, “Hopefully, we should start shooting by September. And yes, I will be there in Chapter 2, so just wait for it.” Have a look:

Directed by Dominic Arun, the second chapter in the Lokah franchise will dive into the story of Michael, the chathan (sorcerer). Tovino Thomas, who made a brief cameo in Kalyani’s Lokah, is set to return as the mischievous Michael. Interestingly, Lokah’s post-credits scene revealed a surprising twist. Michael has 359 siblings who look exactly like him, after a lookalike was discovered inside a cave.
Meanwhile, in 2025, Dulquer Salmaan shared an intriguing poster and a promo of Lokah 2. It featured Tovino as Michael/Chathan and Dulquer as Charlie/Odiyan, titled ‘When Legends Chill’. Fans were thrilled to watch the promo. Since the first part was quite a hit at the box office, the audience is looking forward to its sequel.
In the first part, it was shown that Chandra, a mysterious woman who arrives in Bangalore, India, and gets entangled with a gang involved in organ trafficking. The film also stars Naslen, Sandy Master, Arun Kurian, and Chandu Salim Kumar.
