The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the objection window for the SSC JE Answer Key 2025 on December 22, 2025, at 6 pm. Candidates who appeared for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical)
Examination 2025 – Paper I can raise objections through the official website, ssc.gov.in.
The provisional answer key for SSC JE Paper I was released on December 19, 2025. Candidates who are not satisfied with any answer can submit representations online by paying a fee of ₹50 per question or answer challenged. The commission has made it clear that objections sent through offline or any other mode will not be accepted.
SSC JE Answer Key: How To Raise Objections?
To raise an objection, candidates can follow these steps:
- Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
- Click on the login link available on the homepage.
- Enter your registered credentials and submit.
- Open the SSC JE Answer Key 2025 for Paper I.
- Select the question you want to challenge and submit your objection.
- Pay the prescribed Rs 50 fee per question.
- Download the confirmation page after submission and keep a copy for future reference.
SSC has also informed candidates that the saved question paper and answer key are meant only for personal use and self-analysis. An undertaking regarding this has been included in the Challenge Management Portal and will be visible during login.
The SSC JE examination is conducted to recruit Junior Engineers in various central government departments and organisations such as CPWD, BRO, MES, and other government bodies. The recruitment is for engineering posts in the Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines.
The Paper I exam was conducted from December 3 to December 6, 2025, and again on December 13, 2025, at examination centres across the country. Candidates are advised to regularly check the SSC website for updates related to results and the next stages of the recruitment process.
