Jantar Mantar NEET Students Protest: Actor Rajkummar Rao has shared a message in support of students amid the ongoing protests led by Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar over the alleged
NEET paper leak. Without naming any political group, the actor urged authorities to listen to young people with empathy while asking protesters to maintain peace and avoid violence.
His statement comes as the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)-led movement continues in the national capital, with students demanding accountability and reforms in the education system after the alleged examination paper leak.
‘Every Voice Deserves To Be Heard’
Taking to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Rajkummar wrote, “When young people feel unheard, it is a reminder that society must listen. Every voice deserves to be heard with dignity, fairness and respect.”
He also appealed for calm, saying, “Peace must remain our greatest strength. Violence, from any side, only deepens wounds and takes us further away from meaningful solutions. This is a moment for dialogue and compassion”
Rajkummar Rao Calls For Empathy From Authorities
The Stree actor urged both students and the authorities to engage constructively instead of escalating tensions. “Let students express themselves responsibly. Let authorities respond with empathy, openness and a genuine willingness to listen. Real and lasting change is built through conversation, not confrontation. That is what is needed now, more than ever,” he wrote, adding, “All of us, collectively, want one thing, growth for our nation and the foundation for that growth is fair education. Jai Hind.”

Bollywood Celebs Supporting Students’ Protest
Several celebrities have publicly backed the CJP-led student protest, with many using social media to express solidarity. Actors including Diljit Dosanjh, Aamir Khan’s nephew Imran Khan, Sonu Sood, Vir Das, Dia Mirza, Soha Ali Khan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Rohit Saraf, Aayush Sharma, Prakash Raj, Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh, Bhumi Pednekar, Huma Qureshi, Preity Zinta, Nandita Das, Shabana Azmi and rapper Hanumankindhave voiced support for the students’ demands, calling for greater transparency in the examination system, accountability over the alleged irregularities and a peaceful resolution to the ongoing protests.

Rajkummar Rao’s Recent And Upcoming Films
On the work front, Rajkummar Rao was last seen in the Netflix dark comedy Toaster, co-starring Sanya Malhotra. The film also marked his debut as a producer under Kampa Films alongside wife Patralekhaa.
The actor will next be seen in Prahaar – The Ujjwal Nikam Story, based on the life of public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam. He is also set to portray former India captain Sourav Ganguly in the much-awaited biopic Dada – The Sourav Ganguly Story, whose first look was revealed earlier this month.
