Abhishek Sharma entered his name in the record books on Thursday, December 11, by becoming the second Indian cricketer to hit 50 T20I sixes in a calendar year. Abhishek opened the innings for India in the 214-run
chase against South Africa in Mullanpur on Thursday and scored 17 runs from 8 balls. During his stay at the crease, he hammered two sixes for the Suryakumar Yadav-led side. The second six by Abhishek on Thursday was his 50th six in the 19th T20I match of 2025.
