Sobhita Dhulipala continues to make a strong case for modern Indian glamour as she steps into her new role as a muse for Charlotte Tilbury India. Her latest appearance, part of a fresh campaign created
in collaboration with Nykaa, is a lesson in restraint, richness, and refined styling.
For the shoot, Sobhita chose a custom gold lehenga by designer Jigar Mali, paired thoughtfully with a deep burgundy dupatta from the designer’s Naisha lehenga set. The look struck a careful balance, traditional in spirit, yet unmistakably contemporary in finish.
The lehenga itself was a showcase of intricate craftsmanship. Dense embroidery layered the gold fabric, lending it depth and luminosity without weighing down the silhouette. Rather than experimenting with avant-garde drapes or unconventional styling, the ensemble leaned into classic proportions. A sleeveless, tailored blouse added structure and kept the overall look clean and composed.
How Sobhita styled the look
The burgundy dupatta emerged as the defining element of the outfit. Its rich, velvet-like tone and ornate gold borders created a striking contrast against the gold base while maintaining visual harmony. Draped gracefully over her head, it introduced a sense of old-world romance without feeling dated.
Jewellery choices stayed purposeful. A bold choker anchored the look, complemented by matching earrings and a maang tikka that sat perfectly along her centre-parted hair, enhancing symmetry and elegance rather than overpowering the attire.
A video capturing this look was shared across the official Instagram handles of Nykaa and Charlotte Tilbury, further amplifying the understated drama of the ensemble.

Hair and makeup
Known for her sharp features and poised presence, the Made in Heaven actor kept her beauty look polished and precise. Her hair was styled neatly, allowing the jewellery and outfit to take centre stage. Makeup focused on sculpted skin and defined eyes—clean lines that complemented the richness of the lehenga without competing with it.
A look back at her recent gold moment
Just a week before this bridal-inspired appearance, Sobhita made waves at a Mumbai event in another gold-forward ensemble. That look took the form of a lehenga-saree hybrid, merging fluidity with structure. Fine net-tulle embroidery and delicate beading traced the hem, while a low-waist silhouette and mermaid-style fall added softness and movement. Statement jewellery offered contrast, allowing the craftsmanship to remain the hero.
Whether in campaign mode or on the red carpet, Sobhita Dhulipala continues to demonstrate how thoughtful styling and quiet confidence can elevate traditional Indian wear into something truly timeless.
