Rashmika Mandanna, who has been basking in the success of her latest film Thamma, shared a confession with her fans on social media. The actress revealed that she secretly slipped into a theatre on Wednesday
night to experience the audience’s live reactions to the film, and the post has instantly won hearts online.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Rashmika Mandanna shared a clip featuring herself from the film Thamma and wrote, “Dear Diary, Sooo Wednesday night I might have just sneaked back into the theatre to watch Thamma. It’s a different feeling altogether listening to the laughs, whistles, and reactions all around while watching the film. To everyone who’s watched it sent love, feedback, comments… we’re sooo so happy!!I love youuu all!! Oh and yes.. I got my 80:20 salted caramel popcorn too”

Thamma Box Office Day 3:
On its third day, Thamma performed strongly, adding Rs 12.50 crore to its collection. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Thamma earned Rs 24 crore net across India on its opening day, followed by an impressive Rs 18.6 crore on its second day. The film maintained momentum on its third day, bringing the total collection of the film to Rs 55.10 crore in three days. The horror comedy had an overall 19.38 per cent Hindi Occupancy on Thursday, October 23, 2025. While the morning shows saw 7.52 per cent footfall, the afternoon shows peaked at 19.35 per cent. The evening shows and the night shows had the highest occupancy rate, recording 25.52 per cent and 25.14 per cent footfall, respectively.
Thamma’s Storyline And Cast
Made under the direction of Aditya Sarpotdar, Thamma features Ayushmann Khurrana as Alok, and Rashmika Mandanna plays the role of Tadaka. Nawazuddin Siddiqui steps in as the opposing force and plays the king of darkness, Yakshasan, who threatens their love story. Adding to the excitement, the ever-beautiful Malaika Arora made a striking appearance in a special dance number, Poison Baby.
Produced by Maddock Films, the horror comedy also featured Paresh Rawal, Malaika Arora, Geeta Aggarwal and Faisal Malik to bring lighter moments to the dark narrative. Set in a fictional world, the film offers a “bloody” love story with a blend of suspense, thrill and romance.
Thamma’s Stiff Competition With Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat
The horror comedy locked horns with Milap Zaveri’s Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. Starring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa in lead roles, the romantic drama is giving tough competition to Thamma. Released in theatres on the same date, the film also had a solid opening at the box office.
