At least ten people were killed and several others injured in a mass shooting in Bekkersdal township, west of Johannesburg, on Sunday, according to SABC News. Gunmen reportedly stormed a tavern and opened
fire on a crowd without warning, causing panic and chaos.
The attackers fled the scene before police arrived, leaving several victims dead and wounded. Emergency services rushed the injured to nearby hospitals, with some said to be in critical condition. Police have launched an investigation into the attack, but no suspects or motive have been identified so far.
