Abhishek Pathak Says Ajay Devgn’s Hindi Version Will Be Different
In a recent conversation with Pinkvilla, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak opened up about the current status of the film, their long association with the Drishyam franchise, their collaboration with Mohanlal, and how the Hindi adaptation will differ from the Malayalam original.
Abhishek Pathak confirmed that the shoot of Drishyam 3 in Hindi has been completed, with only some patchwork currently underway. The film is set to release on October 2.
Speaking about the Hindi version, Abhishek said, “The shoot is done. We are currently working on some patchwork and will release it on October 2. There’s a lot of excitement around the film. What people are seeing right now in Malayalam Drishyam is different. For the Hindi audience, I have created a completely different track that will work beautifully here. The Malayalam version focuses more on family drama, while the Hindi version will lean more towards a family thriller. That’s the fabric of the film. When the trailer releases, audiences will see how different the two worlds are.”
About the film

The film is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam film of the same name. Drishyam has also been remade in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
