Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 76 on Thursday, September 17, with birthday wishes pouring in from across the country. Several members of the Indian film industry also took to social media to extend
their greetings to the Prime Minister, including Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, Kajol, Sanjay Dutt, actor-politician Vijay, and Pawan Kalyan, among others. PM Modi has served as India’s Prime Minister since May 2014.

A while ago, Akshay Kumar took to social media to wish PM Modi on his special day. He penned a heartfelt note that read, “Today is the birthday of our esteemed Prime Minister ji, and this day is being celebrated with a resolve for service. I believe there cannot be a more beautiful way to celebrate a birthday than this. May we be of service to someone, help a needy person, bring a smile to someone’s face… just this simple resolve. On PM Modi’s 76th birthday, the BJP is launching the month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ to mark his 25 years in public service. The campaign will run from September 17 to October 17, with October 7 marking 25 years since Modi first took oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001.
