The Raja Saab makers are reportedly gearing up to release the film’s first single soon. As per the latest reports, the first track from the film is expected to drop on Prabhas’s birthday. The film’s release has already
been pushed to next year. Recently, the makers also released the trailer, which was loved by fans.
123 Telugu reported that the first single from The Raja Saab will be out on Prabhas’ birthday (October 23). And the second surprise is that director Hanu Raghavapudi is likely to reveal the film’s first-look poster and title on the actor’s birthday. Although Fauji is being widely circulated as the title, Hanu hasn’t confirmed it yet.
Prabhas’s The Raja Saab Producer Breaks Silence On Film Delay
The film release has been facing a lot of problems. After months of speculation surrounding the delay of Prabhas’ much-anticipated romantic fantasy The Raja Saab, producer V. Vishwa Prasad has finally addressed the issue. In a candid conversation, Prasad revealed that the film’s release was pushed back due to serious issues with the VFX department. Speaking with NDTV, Prasad said, “I can name a few people who really put us in trouble. I’ve already named one for Karthikeya 2, and another for The Raja Saab, who was really in extortion mode. He made us delay our movie because he didn’t do any of the work until October 2024. We were supposed to come in April 2025.”
Vishwa blamed the VFX supervisor and added, “He didn’t work on a single shot and just kept everything with him, taking a monthly fee for his entourage and team. He threatened the director that he would quit if he said something. And this person has a habit of doing this. He was recently kicked out of SS Rajamouli’s film. Since he got busy with Pushpa 2, he didn’t do any of our work. Someday, I’ll show him what the fee is for
Release plans
Earlier, Producer TG Vishwa Prasad spoke to 123 Telugu and shared the film’s release strategy. The team plans to release the movie on 9 January 2026, aligning with the Sankranti festival. Prasad explained that this decision was suggested by stakeholders in the film business. However, Bollywood distributors are reportedly insisting on a 5 December 2025 release. He added that a few songs and minor patchwork are still pending, and the film is expected to release in January.

Recently, it was reported that the team has flown to Greece for two songs shoot. The film is gearing up for next year release. A fan shared a video on his X handle. In the video, Prabhas is seen dressed in colourful attire and preparing himself for the dance number. People Media Factory also shared a shoe video on its X handle. The inside glimpse has only increased excitement level among fans who are eagerly waiting for the film release. Earlier, it was schedule to release on December 5, clashing with Shahid Kapoor’s Romeo.
