Ingredients:
- 2 ripe mangoes (preferably Alphonso or other soft, sweet variety), peeled and pulp scooped out
- 2 cups chilled milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, adjust to taste or omit if mangoes are very sweet)
- 2–3 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 2–3 tablespoons chopped dry fruits, like almonds, cashews, raisins
- 1–2 tablespoons chopped pistachios, for topping
Method:
- Prep the mango: Peel both mangoes and cut the flesh into small chunks, removing the stone. If you like a smoother shake, avoid any fibrous bits.
- Blend the base: Add the mango pulp, milk, and sugar (if using) to a blender jar. Blend for 20–30 seconds until smooth and well combined. Taste and adjust sugar if needed.
- Add the ice cream: Add 2–3 scoops of vanilla ice cream to the blender. Blend again for 15–20 seconds just until the shake is thick and frothy, but not too warm. If you prefer it colder, you can chill the mango‑milk mix briefly before adding ice cream.
- Serve and garnish: Pour the milkshake into chilled glasses, dividing evenly.
