As Salman Khan gets back to host one of television’s most loved reality shows, Bigg Boss, fans get excited for its 19th season. As the new season gets closer to its premiere date, the makers have handed
fans a special power to choose between two contestants, Shehbaz Badesha and Mridul Tiwari.
This voting choice ignited significant controversy among the fans, including Bigg Boss 13 fame Shehnaaz Gill, sister of Shehbaz Badesha, reacting to the new plot twist.
Shehnaaz Gill on Choosing Between Shehbaz Badesha and Mridul Tiwari
Staying true to the season’s democracy-driven theme, Bigg Boss 19 has launched a special segment titled Fans ka Faisla. In this unique segment audiences get a chance to influence the direction of the show. In this brand-new twist, fans now get to decide who should get into the house: Shehnaaz Gill’s brother, Shehbaz Badesha, or YouTuber Mridul Tiwari.
Reacting to the twist, on Sunday, August 17, actress Shehnaaz Gill took to social media and called the whole thing “unfair”. Taking to Instagram stories, Shehnaaz said, “When I was on Bigg Boss 13, my brother Shehbaz had been manifesting to be in the show since then. He had stayed there for a week, and people had loved him a lot. Now, finally, he is getting a chance to go on Bigg Boss 19, but the opportunity is such that both the guys have been nominated and left homeless, which is quite unfair.”
She further added, “I really want both of them to go in, but I want you all to vote for Shehbaz. They are so eager to go inside; let them go there. Only then will they know how difficult the journey is. Please send both boys in.” The decision now lies solely on fans’ votes; as between Shahbaz and Mridul, whoever receives the maximum number of votes will be revealed on the Bigg Boss 19 grand premiere.
