Back-to-back Rs 100 crore days

Before this, only RRR, directed by S. S. Rajamouli, had achieved a Rs 100+ crore single-day figure and that too in Telugu. This makes Dhurandhar 2’s Hindi run even more significant.

With its strong weekend performance, the film has already crossed the Rs 450 crore net mark in Hindi. This makes it the biggest opening weekend ever for a Bollywood film. The momentum remains strong going into the weekdays. Advance bookings for Monday have already set new benchmarks, with the film targeting around Rs 50 crore on a working day — an unusually high figure for a weekday.
Global numbers surge
At the worldwide box office, Dhurandhar 2 has grossed over ₹700 crore within its extended four-day opening weekend. This makes it the biggest opening weekend for a Bollywood film globally and the second biggest for an Indian film, behind Pushpa 2: The Rule. The film is now eyeing the Rs 1,000 crore mark within its first week, driven by strong advance sales and sustained audience interest.
Strong word of mouth
The film’s performance has also been backed by positive audience response and strong performances. News18 Showsha rated the film 3.5 stars.
