AI Summit 2026 LIVE updates: The fifth and conclusive day of the India AI Impact Summit 2025 — being held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi — is set to see several key discussions, including reimagining India’s
education system, AI in diplomacy, data sovereignty, and more.
On Friday, February 20, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will address the summit along with several other ministers. The fifth day of the summit may also witness the adoption of the Leaders’ Declaration, underscoring a shared commitment to global AI governance and cooperation.
PM MODI’S ‘MANAV MISSION’
On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the summit, as he sought to position India as a key player in the AI ecosystem.
While acknowledging the transformative potential of AI, PM Modi called for stronger guardrails to regulate emerging technologies.
He also emphasized on key topics such as child safety, seeking more democratisation of Artificial Intelligence.
The Prime Minister also presented his ‘MANAV’ mission of approaching AI. “M stands for moral and ethical systems. A stands for accountable governance, transparent rules and robust oversight. N stands for national sovereignty – whose data, their rights. The second A stands for accessible and inclusive, not an AI monopoly, but a multiplier. V stands for valid and legitimate. This vision will be an important link in the welfare of humanity,” PM Modi said.
