Speaking with Zoom, the dancer, actor said, “This film shifts the paradigm in that authentic storytelling resonates. It encompasses both elements. It’s wonderful to witness that audiences are seeking love stories and embracing genuine and innovative narratives. The leads are newcomers, and viewers are seeing them for the first time on the big screen. For us, being familiar faces adds to the pressure. If they can succeed, we should be able to as well.”
“I’m fine with bearing that pressure. It’s not solely about that, but rather, come, give us a chance, and then make your decision. That’s my message. It’s crucial for us when everyone claims they desire fresh faces. We’ve been given this opportunity and we view ourselves as new faces. We simply want people to visit the theatre, watch and form their opinions rather than relying on preconceived ideas based on our previous work or personal biases,” Shantanu Maheshwari added.
