The BJP on Monday announced a major organisational shake-up under party chief Nitin Nabin, appointing a new set of national office-bearers and assigning several leaders key responsibilities. The appointments will come into effect immediately. Former Union minister Smriti Irani has been appointed National General Secretary.
The party has appointed 13 National Vice Presidents, including Ram Madhav, Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Madhav, Baijayant Jay Panda, D Purandeshwari, Rekha Verma, Bharti Pawar and Manpreet Singh Badal.
