Actor Tabu has quietly added a new address to her Mumbai portfolio, this time in one of the city’s most sought-after seaside neighbourhoods. According to property registration documents accessed by Liases
Foras, the National Award-winning actor has purchased a residential apartment in the Versova area of Mumbai. The transaction was completed with Godrej Properties for a home located in its project, Godrej Skyshore.
The apartment measures approximately 2,153 sq ft and has been acquired for ₹10 crore. The registration was finalised on March 26, 2026. As per the sale deed, a stamp duty of ₹5.24 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000 were paid. The property also comes with two designated car parking spaces and includes a balcony area of around 127 sq ft.
The Godrej Skyshore development, where the apartment is located, is being constructed on a land parcel of over 27,000 sq ft. The project is designed with two residential towers—Tower A and Tower B—featuring five basement levels, a ground floor, and 24 upper floors. In total, the development will house 126 residential units.
Known for her distinctive film choices and powerful performances, Tabu has built a strong reputation in Indian cinema with films such as Maqbool, Haider, and Andhadhun. Over the years, she has earned multiple National Awards and is widely regarded for bringing depth and emotional nuance to her roles. She has received numerous accolades, including two National Film Awards, seven Filmfare Awards (including a record five Critics Awards for Best Actress), and two Filmfare Awards South. In 2011, she was honoured with the Padma Shri, India’s fourth-highest civilian award.
Her latest purchase adds to a growing list of celebrity investments in Versova and nearby neighbourhoods. In 2025, actor Gauhar Khan reportedly acquired three apartments in the same locality for ₹10.13 crore.
