K-pop artists and their songs dominated the year 2025. After K-pop’s massive success at global music charts, YouTube revealed which were the most popular in South Korea itself.
On December 3, YouTube Korea
wrapped up 2025 with a list of the most popular songs that captured the hearts of South Koreans.
YouTube Korea Reveals Top 10 Songs Of 2025
The top 10 songs were decided by counting only views from YouTube users in Korea or Shorts created by YouTube users in Korea. Also, only the songs which were released in 2025 or saw a drastic growth in popularity compared to the previous year were included in this list.
For the list, YouTube Korea did not only count views from official music videos but also lyric videos and art track videos.
The entire soundtrack from Netflix’s hit animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters secured top spots on both YouTube Korea’s Top Songs list and Top Songs on Shorts list for 2025. HUNTR/X’s Golden managed to bag the no. 1 spot on the Top Songs list, while Saja Boys’s Soda Pop secured no. 1 on the Top Songs on Shorts list.
Other songs which made it to both the year-end lists were IVE’s Rebel Heart, BLACKPINK’s Jump, Saja Boys’ Soda Pop, and HUNTR/X’s Golden. While Rebel Heart claimed no. 7 on the Top Songs list and No. 6 on the Top Songs on Shorts list, BLACKPINK’s Jump ranked no. 8 on the Top Songs list and No. 5 on the Top Songs on Shorts list.
