According to reports, the truck driver attempted to save the two-wheeler rider by swerving. However, the loose sand on the roadside caused the truck to skid uncontrollably, leading to it veering off the road and smashing into nearby shops.
Two individuals sustained injuries in the accident, and one shop suffered considerable damage. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported.
The entire incident was caught on CCTV, and the video footage is now circulating widely on social media. Authorities are currently investigating the accident further.
Man crushed to death by tanker truck
In another tragic incident on the Telgaon-Majalgaon road in Maharashtra’s Beed, a man lost his life after his motorcycle skidded while attempting to overtake a tanker truck, which then ran over him. This information was provided by a police official on Sunday.
The accident occurred in Pathrud, Majalgaon tehsil, on Saturday evening. The official stated that the deceased was identified as Baliram Prabhakar Maske, 35, a resident of Shivajinagar in Kaij. The pillion rider, Sanjay Late, 30, from Babhulgaon, sustained injuries in the incident.
