Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’s romantic film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri (TMMTMTTM) struggled to retain momentum at the box office in its first week. The picture, which debuted over the holiday
weekend, faced heavy competition from Aditya Dhar’s action-packed Dhurandhar and James Cameron’s Hollywood sci-fi epic Avatar: Fire and Ash, both of which drew significant audiences.
According to preliminary estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk, TMMTMTTM collected Rs 1.75 crore on Tuesday, a considerable decrease from its opening day collection of Rs 7.75 crore. The film’s total box office revenue is at Rs 27 crore.
The occupancy rate in Hindi circuits was a modest 20.04 per cent, with night shows generating the largest footfall at 28.13 per cent. Evening shows had a 22.35 per cent occupancy rate, afternoon shows 21.73 per cent, and morning shows only 7.96 per cent. The film’s performance exemplifies the difficulties romantic dramas face in today’s market, particularly when competing with high-profile movies.
