Kara’s first glimpse
The film’s first look video, The Name is Kara, has struck a chord with audiences, triggering an outpouring of positive reactions across social media platforms. The minute-long glimpse sets the tone for a gritty action thriller, presenting Dhanush in a raw, intense avatar that many fans feel plays to his greatest strengths as a performer. From the opening frame, the teaser promises a dark, emotionally charged narrative rooted in violence, survival and redemption. “Be it crop or weed,” begins Dhanush’s haunting voiceover in the video. “Be it sin or virtue. What a man sows, he alone must reap. What I sowed is now ripe for the taking.” The glimpse unfolds through a series of striking visuals that show his character being beaten down, subjected to cruelty and oppression, yet refusing to surrender.
Sreeleela’s work
Sreeleela will be making her Bollywood debut with Kartik Aaryan. After months of buzz and speculation, Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela’s upcoming romantic musical with filmmaker Anurag Basu finally has a title. The film, which has been in the works for a while, is reportedly called Tu Meri Zindagi Hai and is slated for a May 2026 theatrical release. The project was initially rumoured to be Aashiqui 3, but following the professional split between producers Mukesh Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar, it was reimagined as a standalone love story. A source told Mid-Day that the new title was chosen carefully to keep the nostalgia alive without linking it directly to the Aashiqui franchise. “The team wanted a name that evoked nostalgia, but didn’t risk legal or creative complications. Tu Meri Zindagi Hai felt like the perfect fit,” the source said.
The film is said to be a classic love story told in Basu’s trademark style, complete with a strong emotional core and soulful music. The source added that the team is currently shooting in Mumbai and will continue till the end of 2025, with final patchwork expected in early 2026. “With the release more than six months away, it gives the team time to weave in some additional tracks,” they shared.
