The much-anticipated trailer release of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar happened this afternoon, and the makers hosted a grand launch event at the NMACC. While the key cast and crew of the film, including Ranveer Singh,
R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, debutant Sara Arjun and others were present, senior actors Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna gave it a miss. Read on to know why.
Akshaye Khanna and Sanjay Dutt, who will be seen in pivotal roles in the film, were absent at the grand trailer launch event. Speaking about their absence, co-star Arjun Rampal shared, “Sanjay sir and Akshaye couldn’t be here today as they didn’t get their visas on time. They were really looking forward to joining us for the launch, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out.”
Despite their absence, Ranveer Singh made sure he led the event with full energy and charisma.

On Tuesday, the makers of Dhurandhar dropped the trailer at a grand event in Mumbai. The trailer reveals that the film is inspired by true events and depicts the tension between India and Pakistan. Ranveer Singh is seen in a rugged avatar as he plays the role of an undercover spy. The Aditya Dhar directorial also features Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna and R. Madhavan. The trailer promises that the film will be a treat for action lovers and will leave the audience with goosebumps. It also reveals that Dhurandhar will be one of Ranveer Singh’s most violent films.

On Tuesday, Ranveer Singh took to Instagram to share his character poster from Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar before the trailer launch and wrote, “I am… the wrath of God. #DhurandharTrailer out today at 12:12 PM. In cinemas 5th December.”
