First Glimpse Of Jr NTR And Prashanth Neel’s Film Dragon Out
The first glimpse of Dragon offers audiences a powerful look at Jr NTR in one of his darkest and most intense avatars yet. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the action epic is slated for a worldwide release on June 11, 2027. The teaser introduces NTR as “Luger,” a fierce assassin operating in a violent world shaped by narcotics, crime and political unrest. Set in 1967, the story unfolds against the backdrop of the Golden Triangle and the international opium trade, and appears to blend period drama with action on a massive scale.
The teaser opens with a close-up shot of a gun being loaded, and visuals depicting British colonisation in India. A voiceover says, “The British may have arrived in India for cotton, steel and spices, but the reason they stayed for 250 years was a plant.” The video then shifts focus to the opium poppy and the process behind creating some of the world’s most addictive narcotics.
