Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar is winning hearts with its storyline and music. Rakul Preet Singh has also joined the growing list of celebrities praising the action-packed blockbuster. She expressed her love
for the film, calling it a “masterpiece” and revealing that she is eagerly waiting for Part 2. The second part is releasing on March 19, 2026.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Rakul Preet Singh shared Dhurandhar poster featuring Ranveer Singh and wrote, “#Dhurandhar is a masterpiece a film so true to it’s genre, authentic, real, gripping, high on adrenaline. Dhurandhar OTT Release:
Industry chatter suggests that Netflix has snapped up the OTT rights for a whopping Rs 130 crore, turning it into one of the biggest streaming buys of the year and giving Ranveer a major OTT milestone. A source told Bollywood Hungama that the figure includes both parts of the film. “Netflix has paid Rs. 130 crores for the streaming rights of Dhurandhar. This includes both parts. Hence, one can say that the rights were sold for around Rs. 65 crores each for Dhurandhar Part 1 and Part 2,” the insider said.
Calling it a rare high in today’s scaled-down OTT price market, the source added, “Nevertheless, this is a huge figure in today’s times when the OTT prices have crashed. Also, it is a significant shot-in-the-arm for Ranveer Singh. This is his biggest OTT deal yet, if we count the amount given to both parts of Dhurandhar.”
About the film
Set in Pakistan, Dhurandhar follows an Indian spy who infiltrates the Lyari gangs. Directed by Aditya Dhar and based on true incidents, the story unfolds in the early 2000s. The cast includes Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and R Madhavan, alongside Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.

Rakul Preet Singh’s work front
The actress was last seen in De De Pyaar De 2 with Ajay Devgn. The film picks up Ashish and Ayesha’s story exactly where the 2019 film left off. In the sequel, Ashish visits Ayesha’s parents to seek their approval for marriage. Although they initially voice concern over the couple’s significant age gap, they are stunned to discover that Ashish is the same age as Ayesha’s father. The trailer also introduces a young man closer to Ayesha’s age, someone her parents encouraged in hopes of steering her away from Ashish. Anshul Sharma directed De De Pyaar De 2, which features R. Madhavan, Gautami Kapoor, Jaaved Jaaferi and Meezaan Jafri in key roles.
