In the latest episode of Farah Khan’s YouTube series, where she tours celebrity homes alongside her cook, Dilip, the duo dropped by Shruti Haasan’s Mumbai residence. True to her distinctive style, Shruti’s
home radiates a gothic, moody, and dark charm, balanced with an intimate and personal touch.
The actor welcomed viewers into her spacious kitchen, a place she enjoys cooking and her multi-functional living area, where she entertains friends, creates music, and works on her content.
A Peek Inside Shruti Haasan’s Mumbai Home
Shruti’s home is a reflection of her artistic soul, her love for music, and her preference for gothic and rustic aesthetics. The expansive living room is divided into three distinct sections: a music space, a cozy seating area, and a dining zone. The interiors feature unpainted walls, soaring ceilings, and large windows that bathe the space in natural light. Vibrant paintings, warm ambient lighting, and indoor plants add bursts of color and life to the otherwise moody decor.
One corner of the home is dedicated to treasured keepsakes from her travels and personal life including a chaku (knife) gifted by her father, Kamal Haasan, quirky duck figurines, books, posters, disco balls, and anime collectibles. Her music area is brimming with instruments she plays, from a guitar adorned with a gas mask to a piano, alongside her alter ego character, Fiona.
During the visit, Farah cooked a hearty mutton dish for Shruti, while Shruti treated her guest to a home-cooked sambar and dosa.
