Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar is one of the most anticipated films of the year, and with the very first look, it has been creating waves. Now, reports suggest that Dhurandhar’s trailer has received a UA16+
certification from the Central Board of Film Certification. However, there has been no official news about the trailer receiving a UA+ rating as of now. Images of the rating card have been circulating online, which has fuelled the excitement about the trailer drop.
According to the certification circulating online, the trailer will have a runtime of 2 minutes and 42 seconds. While the movie’s release is still 3 months away, the audience is quite excited to see Ranveer’s bad-gangster avatar.
Dhurandhar Plot
Reportedly, Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar is based on true events. Even though details about the film’s plot are not known as of now, it is speculated that Ranveer Singh will be seen playing the role of an undercover spy in the movie. Reportedly, the film will present the bravery of India’s special agents in Pakistan.
Dhurandhar is written and directed by Aditya Dhar. The film will hit theatres on December 5, 2025.
What Happened on Dhurandhar’s Set
On August 17, reports came in that about 100 crew members were rushed to hospital in Leh after a suspected case of food poisoning. But later, these reports were shrugged off, and it was revealed that “there was a local contamination issue which led to this.”

Ranveer Singh looks menacing in the first look from Dhurandhar. The actor, in long hair and with a smoke in his mouth, kills and beats in style, like it’s no task. With upbeat music in the backdrop, the film offers a glimpse into the violence and gore in store. Apart from Ranveer, makers have also dropped first looks of the film’s other leading cast, comprising Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Akshaye Khanna. Arjun Rampal, who is one of the key characters in the film, looked intriguing in a never-before-seen rugged avatar, sporting a golden tooth, vintage metallic shades, a dense grey beard, and classic raw expressions.
