Ram Charan’s much-anticipated film Peddi is once again in the news for a possible delay. According to recent reports, the film is likely to miss its scheduled release date of April 30, with the makers
now eyeing a new window in June. While there has been no official confirmation yet, the development has sparked conversations among fans eagerly awaiting the project.
India Today has mentioned that Prathyangira Cinemas, a distribution firm in North America, shared on X that the producers of Peddi asked them not to open the advance bookings for the film. This news has further intensified the buzz surrounding the film’s release. This has further sparked that the film release has once again been postponed.
The portal also mentioned that the team hasn’t wrapped the shoot, with two songs and several important scenes remaining to be shot. Another factor is the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). With many viewers engaged with IPL matches in the evenings, the makers reportedly prefer to avoid releasing.

Recently, Ram Charan has reacted also and confirmed that the film is progressing as planned and the talkie portions are completed. He revealed that only one song remains to be shot. He also told the team, “Promote your film well, Peddi won’t be late.” His comments came amid speculation that Peddi might be delayed.
