Sai Pallavi is all set to make her Hindi film debut with Aamir Khan Productions’ ‘Ek Din’, opposite Junaid Khan. The film was officially announced a few days ago, and the teaser of Ek Din gave fans a glimpse
of the lead pair’s chemistry. Now, in an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha, Aamir Khan has opened up about the film, and has called it a classic, slightly magical film. He added that he loves ‘mushy, romantic’ films like these, and he absolutely loved the script when he heard it for the first time. Aamir also praised Sai Pallavi, and said that he is glad she was chosen for this film, and that she has done an ‘amazing’ job.
Aamir Khan Opens Up About Ek Din
In an interaction with News18 Showsha, Aamir Khan spoke about Ek Din, and said, “It’s a pure romantic film. Very classic kind of romance genre. And it’s the kind of romance that I like. As an audience, I am a sucker for mushy romantic films. I love mushy romance. It’s that classic, slightly magical, love story. And I loved the script when I heard it for the first time. I am so glad we finally went with Sai Pallavi. She is such a good actor and she has done an amazing job.”
He further added, “I think Junaid has also done really well. He is my son, so I’d rather not talk much about it. But I think both of them have done well. The director has made a wonderful film. And I am looking forward to it releasing on the 1st of May.”
