Anmol, a prized buffalo from Haryana, has once again captured the Internet’s attention. Weighing a massive 1,500 kilograms and reportedly valued at Rs 23 crore, the giant animal never fails to turn heads
wherever it goes. Recently, a video of Anmol making a grand entrance at the famous Pushkar Mela has gone viral on social media.
The fair, which began on October 30 and will run until November 5, has showcased countless animals over the years, but only a few have drawn as much attention as Anmol is receiving this time.
The Buffalo That Costs More Than Cars
Anmol is no ordinary buffalo. He is worth an unbelievable Rs 23 crore. To give a sense of how expensive that is, the amount could buy two Rolls-Royce cars, ten Mercedes-Benz vehicles or even good property in several Indian cities. So, when this huge buffalo walked into the fair, all eyes naturally turned towards him.
His gleaming black coat, muscular frame and walk caught everyone’s attention immediately. People could not help but comment on the sight of this magnificent animal.
One user wrote, “Kitna mehnat laga hai bhai saaf pata chal raha hai (You can clearly see how much effort has gone into raising him).
Another jokingly said, “Wow, eski skin toh humari abhinatriyo ki skin se bhi zyada chamakdar hai (Wow, his skin is shinier than our actresses’ skin).”
Someone else calculated what can be bought with Anmol’s price: “17 defender to aa hi jayegi.. with VIP number (17 Defender can be easily bought with VIP number plate with that kind of money.”
“His skincare is still better than mine bhai,” read another hilarious comment.
A Sneak Peek Into Anmol’s Daily Life
Anmol is eight years old and comes from the Sirsa district of Haryana. Not just his looks, but the demand for his high-quality semen, which is used for breeding cattle, also makes him valuable. His owner, Gill, earns around Rs 5 lakh every month through this. Each extraction, collected twice a week, is sold for Rs 250.
Raising Anmol is no easy task. His daily care costs nearly Rs 1,500, and his diet sounds more like a royal meal plan. Every day, he is fed 250 grams of almonds, 4 kilograms of pomegranates, 30 bananas, 5 litres of milk and 20 eggs. Along with that, he eats ghee, soybeans, corn, oil cake and fresh green fodder to keep him strong and healthy.
Baths And Coat Shine
Anmol’s beauty routine is as grand as his diet. He is given two oil baths a day, where a mix of almond and mustard oil is used to maintain his shiny coat and smooth skin.
His family history also adds to his value. His mother was a high-yielding buffalo known for producing 25 litres of milk every day.
Last year, Anmol was also a major attraction at the All-India Farmers’ Fair in Meerut. Now at the Pushkar Mela, he has once again become a showstopper.
