Krunal Pandya bowled four overs for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their IPL 2026 match against Lucknow Super Giants on Wednesday (April 15) and picked up 2 wickets for 38 runs in four overs. He opened
his wicket account by dismissing Mitchell Marsh on the fifth ball of the 10th over of the LSG innings and then removed Abdul Samad for a two-ball duck on the second ball of the 12th over.
The wicket of Samad, who was caught by Rajat Patidar, helped Krunal complete 100 dismissals in the IPL. He is the 30th bowler to take at least 100 wickets in the IPL. In addition to taking 100 wickets in 147 IPL matches for three teams – Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Super Giants and RCB – Krunal has also scored 1757 runs in 119 innings.

He is the third Indian cricketer after Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel to complete the double of 1000 runs and 100 wickets in the Indian Premier League.
Jadeja, who is part of Rajasthan Royals’ IPL 2026 squad, has picked up 173 wickets and scored 3336 runs in 259 matches for four teams – RR, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans, whereas Axar Patel, who is leading Delhi Capitals in IPL 2026, has scored 1919 runs and taken 131 wickets in 166 IPL matches.
Overall, six players have now completed the double of 1000 runs and 100 wickets in the IPL. The three other players are Sunil Narine, Andre Russell and Dwayne Bravo.
