Iran on Friday warned that it would target US-Israeli assets in West Asia in “devastating” strikes after US President Donald Trump threatened to expand American strikes to bridges and power plants in the
war-battered country.
A spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya central headquarters asserted that Iran’s military would target assets linked to the United States and Israel across the region, including fuel, energy, and economic facilities, if any attack is carried out on Iran’s power plants or energy infrastructure.
“Any attack on Iran’s bridges, power plants, or energy infrastructure will prompt strikes not only on all US and Israeli assets in the region and occupied territories but also on key holdings of US allies and host nations – harder and more devastating than before,” said Ebrahim Zolfaghari in a statement.

He also warned that countries hosting US military bases should compel American forces to leave their territory if they wish to avoid potential damage. This came as the United States and Israel are widening their attacks on Iran, hitting infrastructure in and around the capital, as Washington ramps up pressure on Tehran and the conflict spreads across the region.
Meanwhile, Ali Jahanshahi, commander of the Islamic Republic’s Ground Forces, said in a message addressed to American forces that he would send their soldiers not to the “Stone Age,” but to pre-“Stone Age” amid reports of a possible ground invasion by US troops, reported IRNA News Agency.
Earlier, Trump on Friday issued a new warning to the Iranian regime amid the ongoing war, saying that the American military has not “even begun destroying what’s left in the country”, while vowing to expand strikes on bridges and power plants.

“Our Military, the greatest and most powerful (by far!) anywhere in the World, hasn’t even started destroying what’s left in Iran. Bridges next, then Electric Power Plants! New Regime leadership knows what has to be done, and has to be done, FAST!” he said.
This came hours after Trump issued a stern warning to Iran to “make a deal before it is too late” after sharing a video of Iran’s iconic B1 bridge, the highest in the entire West Asia, which collapsed into two after it was struck by US strikes.
