What is the story about?
Delhi Metro authorities on Wednesday announced the temporary closure of the Lal Quila Metro Station due to security reasons. The station will remain shut until further notice, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation
(DMRC) said in an advisory.
The alert has been issued in light of investigations being carried out over the bomb blast which took place on Monday, outside the station that killed 13 people. Officials confirmed that all other stations across the network continue to operate normally.
Additionally, the Red Fort has been closed for security purposes until Thursday, November 13.
