It is no secret that Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR will be at loggerheads in their upcoming movie, War 2. While everyone is excited to watch their intense battle in Ayan Mukerji’s directorial, Hrithik and Jr NTR engaged
in a fun banter recently.
On Tuesday, Hrithik took to his Instagram handle and revealed that Jr NTR has sent a billboard truck outside his Mumbai residence. The billboard, featuring Jr NTR’s photo from War 2, also reads the text, “Ghungroo toot jaayenge par hum se yeh war jeet nahi paaoge.”
“Okay @jrntr, now you’ve taken it too far by sending an actual BILLBOARD under my house! Alright, challenge accepted. Remember you brought this upon yourself. #9DaysToWar2,” Hrithik wrote in the caption of her post. Check it out here:

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 stars Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in the lead roles. The movie delves into the ruthless world of espionage, with Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) and Nataraj (Jr NTR) locked in a cat-and-mouse chase. This film marks Jr NTR’s highly anticipated Bollywood debut. The teaser highlighted intense action sequences, high-stakes battles, and a gripping narrative, setting the stage for an epic showdown between the two leads. Besides Hrithik and Jr NTR, War 2 also stars Kiara Advani in the lead.
War 2 is not just a standalone action spectacle. It’s also a strategic setup for the next chapter in the YRF Spy Universe – Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt. While rumours suggest Alia might make a brief appearance in War 2, there has been no official confirmation on the cameo.
Earlier today, it was also reported that War 2 has received a U/A certification from the censor board. Besides this, it was also reported that the final runtime stands at 2 hours and 53 minutes (173 minutes), not including the end credit sequence, which is expected to be certified separately later this week.
War 2 will hit theatres on August 14, 2025.
