Producer Firoz Nadiadwala has offered a fresh update on the much-awaited Hera Pheri 3, stating that the project is currently moving in the right direction and remains on track. In a recent interaction,
when asked about the status of the film, Nadiadwala confirmed that the film is progressing steadily. He also confirmed that Priyadarshan will not be directing Hera Pheri 3. For the unversed, Hera Pheri (2000) was directed by Priyadarshan, while its sequel Phir Hera Pheri (2006) was directed by Neeraj Vora. As for Hera Pheri 3, Indra Kumar was officially brought on board in 2018 to helm the third instalment, but he later exited the project. It was subsequently reported that Priyadarshan would return as the director. Now, however, latest updates suggest otherwise.
Priyadarshan Will Not Be Directing Hera Pheri 3
While speaking with Variety India, Firoz Nadiadwala was also asked about filmmaker Priyadarshan’s association with Hera Pheri 3. Addressing the speculation, Nadiadwala clarified that Priyadarshan is not a part of the film. “No, Priyadarshan is not part of it,” he said. Sharing an update about the highly anticipated film, he added, “Things are on track and moving in the right direction.”
