Ranbir Kapoor celebrated his lifestyle brand ARKS’s first anniversary on Saturday and went live on the brand’s Instagram handle, where the actor interacted with his fans and also reviewed Ranveer Singh’s
recently released blockbuster film Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar.
While interacting with fans, Ranbir was asked which was the last film he watched in theatres, and replying to this, he shared, “It was Dhurandhar. Absolutely loved that film. The entire cast and crew smashed it. Really good times at the movies.” Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh have been close friends for quite some time. The two share a very cordial relationship and have even appeared together on one of the episodes of Koffee with Karan.
About Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh in the lead, alongside Akshaye Khanna, Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and others. The story follows an Indian spy who enters Pakistan on a covert mission and finds himself deep inside the dangerous world of the Lyari mafia. The film is inspired by real events.
Meanwhile, work on Dhurandhar 2 is already underway, with the sequel scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19. Recent behind-the-scenes visuals from the Mumbai sets, showing characters played by Arjun Rampal and Sanjay Dutt locked in an intense exchange, have fuelled speculation about the next chapter. Reports suggest the sequel will dive into Hamza Mazhari’s revenge arc and finally reveal the identity of the mysterious ‘Bade Sahab’, a character many believe draws inspiration from gangster Dawood Ibrahim.

On the professional front, Ranbir is gearing up for one of the most anticipated films, Ramayana. Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial, produced by Namit Malhotra, will see Ranbir essaying the role of Lord Ram. The epic drama also boasts an ensemble cast of talented actors including Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakha, Sai Pallavi, Lara Dutta and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. The magnum opus will be released in two parts, with the shooting for Ramayana: Part 1 already wrapped up. Additionally, Ranbir will reunite on screen with his wife Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Love and War, which also stars Vicky Kaushal.
