Jos Buttler is keeping the wickets for the Gujarat Titans in their IPL 2026 match against the Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday, April 17. In the fixture taking place at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad,
the cricketer from England completed Angkrish Raghuvanshi’s catch on the sixth ball of the second over of the KKR innings bowled by Kagiso Rabada. The catch of Raghuvanshi, who is KKR’s highest run-getter in IPL 2026, helped Buttler become the fourth cricketer in the world after Kieron Pollard, David Miller and Quinton de Kock to take 300 catches in T20s.
The IPL 2026 match between KKR and GT in Ahmedabad is Buttler’s 498th T20 match.
Pollard holds the record for taking most catches in T20s. The former West Indies skipper has 405 catches to his name in 735 T20 matches played so far for more than a dozen teams since 2006. He is followed by Miller (332 catches in 561 matches), and De Kock takes the third position with 316 catches in 440 matches.
