The statement came after US President Donald Trump said he was “very angry” following a conversation with President Putin. Trump said Putin had told him early that Ukraine had allegedly tried to attack one of his residences. Trump said the claim was unacceptable.
Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov claimed that Ukraine launched 91 drones in the alleged attack, all of which were intercepted by Russian air defence systems.
However, Ukraine has strongly denied the accusation. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed the claim, calling it another lie from the Russian Federation.
