The teaser of Glory is out and has drawn attention for its intense tone and visuals. Featuring Pulkit Samrat in a different avatar, the film marks a shift in his on-screen image as he takes on the role
of a boxer for the first time.
Known for his romantic and comic roles, Pulkit stars in a more serious part in Glory, with a lean, trained look and a focused presence. The teaser shows training sequences, emotional moments and boxing scenes, hinting at a story centred on struggle, discipline and personal growth.
Sharing his thoughts on the role, Pulkit said, “What pulled me into Glory was the truth of that world — it’s tough, it’s unforgiving, and that’s what makes it beautiful, because every win matters and every step is earned. Ravi doesn’t react, he absorbs — calm on the outside, fire within — and that space between control and breaking is where real strength is built. Playing him reminded me that greatness is about showing up again and again, even when it hurts, because champions are made in everything they survive. Grateful for this journey and this is just a glimpse.”
Meanwhile, speaking about it, Divyenndu said in a statement, “With Glory, what drew me in was how raw this world is. Here, glory doesn’t come from pride; it comes from anger and something deeply personal. Dev isn’t in the ring, but everything around it shapes him. That’s what makes him so unpredictable. This has been one of my most nuanced characters.”
Directed by Karan Anshuman, the film also features Divyendu Sharma and Suvinder Vicky in key roles. It is produced by Mohit Shah and Karan Anshuman. The teaser has received a positive response on social media, with viewers noting Pulkit’s physical transformation and the effort behind the role. The film is set to release on Netflix on May 1, 2026.
