Ananya Panday and Lakshya’s Chand Mera Dil will hit theatres this week, and ahead of the movie’s big release, reports have come in that the film has passed the certification process and received a U/A
16+ certificate, but not without edits.
As per Bollywood Hungama, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) asked the makers of the film to make two major modifications. A 10-second-long kissing scene was asked to be replaced with appropriate visuals fromAnanya Panday and Lakshya starrer. Secondly, a 1-minute and 36-second-long “lip-lock kissing visual” was asked to be deleted from the movie. The makers were also asked to submit consent letters from the child artists featured in the film.
Following the changes made by the makers, the CBFC handed over the censor certificate on May 8. After the edits, as mentioned on the censor certificate, the movie’s runtime is 135.36 minutes. In other words, Chand Mera Dil is 2 hours, 15 minutes, and 36 seconds long.
Chand Mera Dil ticket prices
The portal quoted a source saying, “Chand Mera Dil is produced by Dharma Productions, and they are also distributing the film. They have informed cinemas that the tickets need to be sold at a very affordable price. Accordingly, tickets for all shows before 5:00 pm on Friday, May 22, will be available for just Rs 149. After 5:00 pm, the tickets will be sold for Rs 199. This offer will be valid only on the day of release. Also, tickets priced at Rs. 149 and Rs. 199 will be available only for regular seats.”
