Amid reports that Kartik Aaryan-starrer Naagzilla is likely to be postponed, it has now been reported that the actor is currently shooting for the movie in Mumbai. Reportedly, Kartik and the team will
also be travelling to Delhi for the last shoot schedule of Naagzilla soon and will wrap up the film by February end.
“In February, the crew will move to Delhi for the last leg that will go on for a month. With that, the principal production will be complete, and March will be reserved for patch work,” a source cited by Mid-Day claimed recently.
The insider further shared that to ensure Naagzilla hits theatres as scheduled, makers have started working on the VFXs also simultaneously. “Considering it’s a VFX-heavy film, the makers want it to be perfect so that it’s an immersive experience for the audience. Once the shoot is over, the team will take stock of the work left and the amount of time needed,” the insider added.
Kartik Aaryan will be playing the role of Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand, an Ichadaari Naag in Naagzilla. The actor’s first look from the film was released in April 2025. Back then, Karan Johar shared the motion poster and wrote, “Insanon wali picharein toh bahut dekh li, ab dekho naagon wali pichchar! #NaagZilla – Naag lok ka pehla kaand… Funnn phailaane aa raha hai – Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand… Naag Panchami par 🐍 aapke nazdeeki Sssssinemas mein – 14 August 2026 ko!”
Reportedly, Ravi Kishan has also joined the Kartik Aaryan starrer and will be playing the antagonist in the movie. However, there is no official announcement regarding this as of now.
