Comedian-actor Sunil Grover celebrated his 48th birthday on August 3. On the special occasion, Sunil’s industry colleagues, friends and fans showered the birthday boy with a flurry of wishes. Of course,
it was impossible for him to thank all of them individually, so he decided to express gratitude to his well-wishers by uploading a thank-you post on Instagram. Sunil also attached a picture of a sketchbook along with the post, featuring an illustration of himself with the words “Diamond Raja” written on it.
The drawing, done by Sunil Groverson Mohan, captured a cartoonish representation of the comedian dressed in his quirky costume. Viewers of The Great Indian Kapil Show will remember the outfit from his multiple appearances in the comedy-based programme. The 48-year-old also held a mic in his hand and flashed his signature beaming smile. “Happy Birthday, Diamond Raja,” read the words on the sketchbook.
