Rashmika Mandanna is as much admired for her radiant skin and toned physique as she is for her on-screen presence. At 30, her approach to wellness is refreshingly grounded, she avoids crash diets and instead
focuses on mindful, balanced eating that supports her demanding shoot schedules.
A Morning Routine Rooted in Simplicity
In a conversation with Pinkvilla, Rashmika shared that her day begins with hydration. She drinks nearly a litre of water first thing in the morning, followed by apple cider vinegar, a habit she admits isn’t the easiest to maintain but sticks to for its health benefits.
She has also recently shifted to an eggetarian diet, incorporating eggs into her meals, especially after workouts to support recovery and energy levels.
Evolving Food Habits
Rashmika revealed that her diet has changed significantly over time. Once a fan of avocado toast, she has now reduced or possibly eliminated, it based on her dietitian’s guidance.
For lunch, she leans toward South Indian-style meals but keeps things unconventional. Instead of eating rice regularly, she prefers combining different vegetable curries into a wholesome, flavourful mix. It’s a personal quirk she embraces fully.
Light Evenings, Occasional Indulgence
Her dinners are usually light and easy on the stomach. However, she doesn’t shy away from enjoying a fuller meal when catching up with friends, maintaining a balance between discipline and enjoyment.
Sweet Tooth & Food Restrictions
Despite her structured eating habits, Rashmika admits to having strong dessert cravings. She also shared that she’s allergic to certain vegetables like tomatoes, potatoes, cucumber, and capsicum. Interestingly, sweet potatoes remain a favourite she enjoys without concern.
Overall, her routine reflects a realistic and sustainable approach, focused on listening to her body rather than chasing extreme trends.
