People across the world pursue a wide range of hobbies, from cooking and travelling to quietly spending time alone. Some, however, stand out enough to spark public curiosity. One such unusual pastime has
now propelled a young content creator into the spotlight.
26-six-year-old Scott Fensome is currently trending on social media for his unique hobby of purchasing abandoned, unclaimed luggage left behind at airports. What began as a curiosity-driven experiment has since evolved into his full-time profession. Fensome buys unclaimed bags at airport auctions, documents their contents on social media, and later sells the items he finds online.
Over time, his discoveries, often strange and unexpected, have attracted millions of viewers, with several of his videos going viral. In a recent clip that has already garnered over 1.7 million views, Fensome revealed the contents of a Nike bag he purchased for $1,200 (approximately Rs 1.08 lakh).
As he unzipped the bag, he initially believed it contained shoes. Instead, he found an assortment of items ranging from used cigarette butts and loose coins to a pen, two SIM cards and more change tucked into the top compartment. Inside the main section were runway shoes, headphones, a pair of glasses, safety gloves and an empty Red Bull can.

The bag also contained a number of odd items, including a worker’s tool, a vest, deodorant, a jacket, a newspaper, a hotel bill and several electrical cables. Reacting to the find, Fensome admitted he had hoped for something more valuable but remained confident he could recover his investment by reselling the items.
The video prompted a flood of reactions online, with many viewers questioning how anyone could spend such a large sum on what appeared to be largely unusable belongings. However, this was far from the strangest purchase Fensome has made. According to him, several bags he has bought in the past have turned out to contain little to nothing of value at all.
