Chennai, Aug 14 (PTI) AIADMK workers led by party general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami staged protests across Tamil Nadu on Friday, demanding a complete waiver of farmers’ crop loans.
The protests were
also held to condemn the ruling TVK government for its alleged failure to secure the state’s share of Cauvery water.
The party claimed that this had caused drought and disrupted Kuruvai paddy cultivation in the Cauvery delta districts. PTI JSP SSK
