“Nadia embodies fragility and ferocity at once, so from the very beginning, she was my first and only choice. There is something about her screen presence that feels deeply human. Sometimes cinema begins not with logic, but with a feeling, and casting Kiara was exactly that kind of feeling,” she said.
Praising Kiara’s work ethic, Geetu added, “Her dedication is not loud or performative. It is quiet, disciplined and deeply sincere. She doesn’t just follow direction. She participates in building the emotional architecture of the character.”
Toxic was initially slated for a March 19 release, where it was expected to clash with Dhurandhar 2. However, amid rising tensions in the Middle East, the makers postponed the film to June 4.

Produced by #BalajiMotionPictures in association with #TVF, the film is directed by #ArunabhKumar and #DeepakMishra.” Looks like it has postponed its release to avoid clash with Bhooth Bangla.
