Two days after six of the Shiv Sena-UBT’s Lok Sabha MPs announced joining the Eknath Shinde-led faction, the party’s leader, Sanjay Raut, unleashed a veiled attack on the rebels, declaring a “fight against
the traitors”.
The development came after ‘Operation Tiger’, when six of the Uddhav-faction MPs formally announced their entry into the Shiv Sena led by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde
on Monday.In a post on ‘X’, Raut, a Rajya Sabha MP, wrote: “Na thake kabhi pair, na himmat haari hai. Ladna hai Maharashtra ke gaddaron ke khilaf, hausla hai buland, safar jaari hai (Never have the feet ever tired, never has courage ever been lost. We must fight against the traitors of Maharashtra. The spirit is soaring high. The journey continues!)”

Shiv Sena-UBT Crisis, And Operation Tiger
After days of speculations and war of words, six of Shiv Sena-UBT’s Lok Sabha MPs formally announced joining hands with the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena under what was dubbed as ‘Operation Tiger’, referred to as the split within the party.
Shinde claimed that the shocks to the party would continue hereafter as well, hinting at even a bigger split within the Uddhav-led faction.
Among the rebel MPs are –– Nagesh Patil Ashtikar, Omraje Nimbalkar, Sanjay Jadhav, Sanjay Dina Patil, Sanjay Deshmukh and Bhausaheb Wakchaure. Soon after the switch, Shinde addressed a media briefing and declared: “The six tigers are here… Operation Tiger is now complete and successful”.
