Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to celebrate his 60th birthday on November 2. A few weeks ahead of this special day, PVR Inox has announced ‘Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival’, a special two-week
event which will showcase seven of SRK’s most iconic films across more than 75 cinemas in over 30 cities. Fans are in for a treat as they will get to experience the iconic films on the big screen.
Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival Lineup
Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival will be a two-week event launching on October 31, two days before the superstar’s birthday. The film lineup includes the 2013 action-comedy ‘Chennai Express’, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s romantic epic ‘Devdas’ (2002), Mani Ratnam’s 1998 political drama ‘Dil Se’. Also screening are Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na’ (1994), Om Shanti Om (2007), ‘Main Hoon Na’ (2004), and the recent blockbuster ‘Jawan’ (2023).
PVR Cinemas announced the film festival on Instagram, and wrote, “Decades of charm. Endless emotions. One legend. Celebrate the films that defined generations — the Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival starts Oct 31! Stay tuned for more details.”

Soon after the announcement was made, fans expressed their excitement to watch Shah Rukh Khan’s hit films on the big screen. “Best way to celebrate his birthday,” wrote one fan, while another one commented, “That’s the best thing to happen.” A third fan wrote, “Chalo set ho gaya november ka calendar,” while another one requested, “PLEASE RELEASE VEER ZAARA.”
Shah Rukh Khan’s Statement
Variety quoted Shah Rukh Khan saying, “Cinema has always been my home, and seeing these films find their way back to the big screen feels like a beautiful reunion.” He further added, “These movies are not just my stories, they belong to the audience that have lovingly embraced them over the last 33 years.” He also thanked PVR Inox for mounting the film festival and to his production banner Red Chillies Entertainment for always believing in stories that connect people.
