Tiger Shroff back on set?
According to Times Now, Tiger Shroff returned to the sets of Lag Jaa Gale on October 20, just two days after the firing incident in Mumbai’s Juhu area. The romantic action film is expected to mark Tiger’s first on-screen collaboration with Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya. Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film is directed by Raj Mehta, who has previously helmed films such as Good Newwz, JugJugg Jeeyo and Selfiee.
The film will reportedly hit theatres in May 2027. Earlier, Mid-Day reported that the shoot of Lag Jaa Gale began in January 2026, with director Raj Mehta initially planning to wrap up the film by April. However, the schedule was reportedly extended until October due to a change in Lakshya’s look. A source informed the portal, “While filming Lag Jaa Gale, Lakshya had to shoot for a few scenes of Chand Mera Dil. His looks in both films are different. He had to not only cut his hair, but also trade the rugged avatar of Lag Jaa Gale for the soft look that he has in Chand Mera Dil. Now, he will have to grow his hair and then resume the actioner’s shoot.”
Meanwhile, the three accused in the firing incident were brought from Kota to Mumbai and are expected to be produced before a court on October 21. During the 16-hour road journey, Mumbai Police questioned them, with reports claiming they told investigators that Salman Khan was their original target before they allegedly chose Tiger Shroff as an easier option.
