Someone else said, Atal setu pe chala ke dikhao (can you drive it on Atal Setu).”
One of the users questioned whether the F1 car would be viable on the Ghodbunder road. “Ghodbunder road next,” this user quipped, leaving others in hysterics.
Mumbai’s Ghodbunder Road
The Ghodbunder road in Thane remains infamous for public safety, with frequent terrible accidents and prolonged traffic jams causing a major headache to all locals and travellers. Last week, around 500 commuters, including 170 school children, were left stranded on the Ghodbunder road during the most painstaking jam that extended for hours.
According to PTI News agency, twelve buses carrying students, most of whom were from fifth to tenth standards of different schools, were forced to a standstill after they encountered a massive gridlock due to road repairs. These buses remained unmoved till nearly as late as 11:00 PM at night as the traffic jam created a child safety threat with no food, water and essential assistance available.
